Dear Feel Love Now Community,
In this episode, Swami Nityananda weaves together teachings from Lahiri Mahasaya, Swami Yogananda, Swami Shankarananda, and more to help us understand how to recognize God’s presence within us and how God’s guidance works through us in the midst of our own lives. She explains how Kriya Yoga, meditation, love, and affection work together to connect us to divine kindness, wisdom, and inventiveness so that the particular song or frequency or vibration that can only be shared through us can be shared into the world for the benefit of all.

Dear Feel Love Now Community,
In this episode, Swami Nityananda weaves together teachings from Krishna, Lahiri Mahasaya, the Bhagavad-Gita, Patanjali, Swami Shankarananda, and the Buddha to help us deepen our understanding of how we are so much more vast than this individual lifetime. She describes how this awareness—which sees from the perspective of our soul—can see beyond the separate self and move beyond stress, constraint, and feelings of sadness and trauma and transform from the feeling of “I’ve got to figure this all out myself” to “I feel God’s presence with me and God's support in this.”If you’re reading this in your podcast feed and have not subscribed yet to our official newsletter on Substack, Feel Love Now with Swami Nityananda, consider subscribing for a lot more content like this.

Dear Feel Love Now Community,
In this episode, Swami Nityananda weaves together teachings from the Bhagavad-Gita, Swami Yogananda, the Upanishads, and Swami Shankarananda to help us deepen our understanding of the difference between the born self and the unborn self.
She describes how understanding this difference can help us release unhealthy attachments in our relationships, to our emotions, and to our life’s experiences—helping us feel instantly free no matter where we are.

Dear Feel Love Now Community,

In the video, Swami Nityananda and Acharya Kashi delve into the yogic principle of ahimsa. From the Buddha to modern spiritual leaders, the message is consistent: true power comes from a peaceful heart and a clear mind. By embracing nonviolence, we not only enhance our own lives but also contribute to a global shift towards greater harmony and understanding.
When we are established in ahimsa, our conversations naturally become free of malice, focusing instead on promoting the highest good for ourselves and others. This approach fosters an environment of cooperation and dynamic, joyful love, enabling us to pause and thoughtfully respond to challenges.
Here’s one of our favorite quotes from Swami:
“For life, we are invited to forget meanness and aggression. One of the things that Lahiri Mahasaya says about ahimsa is that in the presence of a person who is established in ahimsa there is no malice. And so, free from malice, pick up your fly swatter.
But I would invite you to just notice the distinction. If you pick up your fly swatter in the energy of anger and malice, going after that fly in your kitchen becomes a very different enterprise than if you pick up your fly swatter in the energy of nonmeanness, the energy of nonaggression.
And we can state that positively. We could say: I choose always to be established in love and respect and goodwill. And if I become aware of a fly, and I am in the energy of love, respect, and goodwill, then the energy of love, respect, and goodwill are there and they are acting through me even if I am picking up a fly swatter and dispatching that fly respectfully to the nonphysical.”
If you have heard this teaching before, we invite you—as Swami so often invites us—to hear it as if you are hearing it for the first time. Often we receive these teachings right when we need them.

Dear Feel Love Now Community,
In the seventh chakra, sahasraram, we realize we are immortal beings. By sitting at “the mystic thousand-petaled lotus,” the crown chakra, we unfold bliss, bliss consciousness, and limitless, unconditional love in our lives.
In this episode, Swami Shankarananda describes what might be blocking our hopes and dreams from becoming reality and how to live a life of Self-realization—that it doesn’t happen outside of us or in the future, but from within.

About the Series
Excerpted from a beloved series entitled Kriya Yoga: Inner Path to God, these talks on the “spiritual science of Self-enlightenment” were presented live by the founder of Awake Yoga Meditation, Swami Shankarananda, before he left the body in 2014. Each talk beautifully describes the function of each of the seven chakras in the process of Self-unfoldment and shares some specific techniques that you can use right now to either enhance your existing meditation practice or prepare for your own Kriya Yoga journey.
Dear Feel Love Now Community,
In the sixth chakra, ajna, we see the first glimpse of bliss. Clarity comes and we listen to our inner guidance. We begin to understand that there is something within us that is immortal, eternal, and beyond limitation. We become empowered to let go of negative attitudes, habits, and emotions and no longer find negativity to be to our advantage.
In this episode, Swami Shankarananda, Swami Nityananda’s teacher and founder of Awake Yoga Meditation, describes how vibration permeates everything, why self-inquiry is so important, and how our focus helps bring about what we want to experience in our lives.

Dear Feel Love Now Community,
The fifth chakra, visuddha, holds our power of freedom of choice. It can lead us towards awareness of our highest self and pure consciousness (pure thoughts) or it can lead us into false pride (impure thoughts). Swami Shankarananda describes how we can choose healing instead of pain, freedom instead of bondage, and compassion instead of suffering.
