What does it mean to be "in the world, but not of it"? The beauty of God is seen in the diversity of cultures, thought, personalities and passions all around us. Yet, we often find ourselves swept along by "the world" rather than being centered in God's kingdom and the transforming work of Christ concerning a fallen world. The apostle Paul exhorts us this way: Romans 12:2 "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."
