Welcome back, visitors to the Village. This week, we’re back to our regularly scheduled thoughts on things worthy of your time. So let us tell you about Yellowjackets, Daredevil Born Again, Your Friends and Neighbors, The Amateur, and The Companion.

Today we start a new series of episodes where we’ll be pitting the greatest moments in movies up against each other culminating in a massive bracket with all the winners. This week, we pit the greatest moments in Sci-fi movies against each other. Which one will it be?

It’s a week that includes a few reviews of new things, a couple of revisits and we remember our Villiagers of the Year.

This week, millions of budding craftsman will wait with baited breath to find out the answer to the question does the Minecraft movie suck? While we don’t yet know the answer, we do know this: for a long time, Hollywood has struggled with how to adapt video games into films. We’ll take you through the best to worst rated of these movies and tell you if we think the critics have got it right or if they were way off on their assessments.
