Today, July 16, 2018, is one of the saddest days of my life. I said good-bye to my dear sweet cat, Goldie. About 13 years ago, Goldie and his big brother, Blackie, came to live with me. They were rescue kittens. Now, it was time to let Goldie go. He is resting in peace now and is no longer suffering. That is the only good thing to come out of this sadness.

I know there are lots of people who must do this act of kindness for their animals. Just know, you will get through it.
