In this episode of The Backlog, Erica and Char welcome special guest Lord Addict of the Iron Lords Podcast. It was a long time coming as Addict has been wanting to be a guest for a while. It's the perfect time because Halo Infinite multiplayer has dropped and Addict, being the avid Halo fan that he is, weighs in on how much he likes it. The panel discusses the VGA nominees and the issues they have with certain categories. Erica and Addict end the show by giving their thoughts on the Elden Ring network test.

In this episode of The Backlog, Erica and Char welcome back special guest @bitcloudgaming to talk Elden Ring and the gameplay overview that was shown. They group discusses From Software games and the difficulty. Mostly it was bitcloud and Erica giving each other a hard time and Char quietly ignoring which made it funny. Char also discusses FFXIV and the extra content that was delayed. Not a lot of topics this week but the panel makes it work and it's entertaining!

Erica gives a casual non spoiler review on Metroid Dread and Char talks about the game they are playing called "Consider It" which had Erica and the chat very amused. The duo also discuss the Elden Ring delay and why it was surprising. Also, they briefly discuss God of War going to PC because there isn't much to say. They knew it would happen! Last but not least, the duo discusses YouTube content creation and some of the struggles editing causes.

The panel also discusses the recent Twitch hack, exposing the earnings of big streamers and why Char is leaving Twitch. The podcast ends with the panel giving their predictions for the GOTY nominees this year.

His channel has blown up recently and he gives us insight into how surprising it has been for him. The panel talks about the games they are playing. Erica gives mini reviews for Death's Door and Eldest Souls, embracing her "Souls Queen" title. Alex talks about how much he is enjoying DMC V and gives Char a hard time for not playing Final Fantasy tactics games. The major topic for this episode is Blizzard/Activision and the lawsuit against them. The panel gives their opinions on the situation and whether people should boycott Blizzard's games now. The podcast ends with the topic of Sony confirming the Nixxes acquisition is for porting over Sony IP's to PC. It was fun catching up with Alex and was a great show!
