The Backup Car Podcast

The choose cone is here and WE are here for it. Love what it's done to the races this past weekend and looking forward to that making a difference in the upcoming races. We also talk about this crazy weekend coming up at the Daytona Road Course!

After a week off, we get together to talk about the racing we didn't cover at Kansas and New Hampshire. Leavine Family Racing's closing is discussed, and we look forward to another double header weekend and some road racing!

Yee haw, we made it through Texas! Another surprise winner. But the Wizard of Oz has granted Clint Bowyer's wish and now he's going home to Kansas. All of NASCAR is. Also NASCAR cancelled practice for the rest of the season so there's that. Shout out Andy Lally 2 weeks in a row.

Leading up to a weekend at Texas, the last week has been great. Rookie winner in Cup, underglow, choose cone, so much this past week. Shout out Andy Lally.

After an unplanned week off, Eric, Casey, and James get back together to talk about the races at Talladega and Pocono as well as look forward to Indianapolis. We discuss how this really might be an incredible weekend for the Xfinity series on the Indy Road Course.

Lots happening in the sports and tempers are flaring up. We talk about this past week at Homestead and look forward to Talladega, a track where one shouldn't let a feud get the best of them...

This has been a history week, not just for the world, not just in sports, but specifically for NASCAR. The sport has taken a stance for all human rights, and it really is incredible. This truly is an amazing time to be a NASCAR fan.

As there are more important issues happening in our society, we take a quick look back at the action that unfolded at Charlotte and Bristol and look forward to Atlanta. No catchy title for this episode, thank you for taking a short break to listen to us but keep practicing your 1st amendment right and standing up for what you believe in. Black Lives Matter. God Bless.

After an incredible weekend at Darlington, we get to Charlotte. Oh Charlotte, what happened? Xfinity and Trucks were great but... the Coca Cola 600... oof. Hear about all that and more!
