Guilt Is Not a Life Sentence
Guilt gets a bad reputation.
Most of us were taught that guilt means we’re bad… broken… or deserving of punishment.
But that’s not what guilt is for.
Guilt is a messenger.
It points you back toward alignment.
It signals when something needs acknowledgment, repair, or change.
Once that lesson is learned…
Guilt is supposed to release.
So if the feeling is still lingering years later, the real question becomes:
Is it actually guilt?
Or is it grief… or shame… hiding underneath?
