MESSAGES ON (AND TO) THE MINISTRY (FIRST SERIES) 1.14

Titles used for Ministers in the Bible, Elders and Chief Elders/Senior Ministers, Ministers and “Deacons”, Why the Title “Deacon” is a Misnomer and has been Misconstrued in its Meaning by the Later Church, Different Degrees of Authority, Ability, and Eldership in the Ministry, The Episkopos (“Bishop” or “Overseer”) as the Senior Minister who is the Chief Overseer of the Elders and the other Members of the Church, The Episkopos (“Overseer”) as what may be a Combined Office of Overseer and Pastor

CAUTIONARY NOTE: This ongoing series of classes on the ministry is NOT intended to address the general ministry of the body of churches we are part of but, rather, to educate and aid those ministers here and abroad that I personally am responsible for. Doing so may require addressing somewhat controversial issues, but only as such are necessary to make clear my position on these issues to those I am responsible for. We have made this public (and not password protected) for several reasons, one being that there are ministers outside of our body of churches who may hear these messages and may consider their ways. That has been the case with other materials we have made public; we have had individuals who listened to them who reached out to us and became a part of what we are doing because of a conviction they felt hearing those messages or reading those materials. I also wanted my position on these issues to be transparent and available to those who love the ministry and its work.

Comprehensive teaching on the Armor of God including discussion on what it is to be fully armored, the mandate to be fully armored to be fully saved, all the ways we must stand against the Devil and the powers of this world, a thorough examination of the wiles of the Devil and the nature of the principalities and powers we are at war with, and a deep and detailed examination of each piece and part of the armor of God, considered theologically and practically. As with most of Daniel Baer's teaching classes, a detailed look at the original language, context, culture, and the whole cohesive testimony of the Bible on this subject is part and parcel of this study.
