This week the sisters introduce baking toasted sugar. Toasted sugar is very easy to make and the results add a new dimension to your baking repertoire. With Toasted sugar, Taunya made a basic sugar cookie and a Angel food cake with fruits soaked in lemon syrup and chantilly cream. Here is the recipe that Taunya used: Almond Danish   NOTE: You can do a NO KNEAD version by simply mixing everything, letting stand on the counter for an hour, punch down and let it ferment overnight and then proceed as normal.
