On this episode of The Balance After Baby, I sit down with Mallory from The Formula Mom to discuss lactivism, formula shame, and how we can empower ALL feeding choices for parents everywhere. Mallory is an Infant Feeding Technician who has dedicated her professional life to advocating for guilt and shame-free feeding support. Not an easy task in the divisive world of infant feeding! Breast is best? Fed is best? Supported is best? We tackle these hard questions and more.

On this episode of 2 Mothers A World Apart, we sit down with Cara and Natasha from Ottawa, Canada. Cara and Natasha are married and have 3 gorgeous little ones. The youngest two are twiblings! Twiblings is what Cara and Natasha refer to as a mix of twins + siblings. Don't be confused! It makes more sense when you listen to their story.
Cara and Natasha were both pregnant at the same time! Their youngest two were born just under 3 weeks apart...during a pandemic. On this episode, we talk about having joint pregnancies, same sex parenting, stigma, raising twiblings + a toddler in a pandemic, and just being normal human being moms!
2 Mothers A World Apart aims to break stereotypes and societal stigmas surrounding many topics in the categories of pregnancy, birth, postpartum, motherhood and beyond! We have real conversations with real mothers around the WORLD. Celebrating our differences, but coming together knowing we're all on this crazy and messy journey we call motherhood.
