Walk down any street in Portland and you’re sure to encounter a mustachioed Brazilian rock and roll troubadour named Johnny Franco. On this episode, Johnny Franco and his real (real!) brother Dom talk about leaving their hometown of Sao Paulo, Brazil to successfully busk all over the streets of Portland and how they’ve expanded their popular Curbside Serenades to create a unique concert series in Laurelhurst Park this summer.
Tune in for the interview and their absolutely captivating live performance. With banter like Johnny’s, there was not a not-smiling face in the house. Truly a treat to hear that jangly Brazilian-influenced beat.
