We read and reflect on Psalm 131. I talk about what it means to be quiet and why I struggle with meditation. I commit to spending 20 phone free moments in my hammock tomorrow.

We read and reflect on Judges 18:16-31. I talk about boundaries and limits and trust. I also talk about being willing to ask for what you want and not take it simply by power of greater strength. I commit to doing one journal page tomorrow.

We read and reflect on Judges 18:1-15. I talk about taking the time to find my place. I also talk about music and hymnody and finding a place for my musical faith.

We read and reflect on Judges 17:1-9. I talk about how strange money is. I also commit to saying yes to my oldest son more frequently.

We read and reflect on Judges 16:15-31. I talk about boundaries and freedom. I also talk about praising myself to stop myself from seeking others’ praise. I articulate a hope to write down my own praise for myself.

We read and reflect on Judges 13:15-24. I talk about finding the beautiful things of God and sharing them and letting them be my own. I also name out loud that I’ve had an idea as a way to keep myself accountable to it, to finding God in my imagination.
