Not money, but time is the most valuable commodity that you have. Once time is up, it is game over!
We all have 168 hours in a week. However, as an employee we often say that we don’t have the time or the energy to get our own stuff done. That’s why proper time management is so important, and that's why I talked about the benefits of being a wage slave, so you have the energy to keep going!
In this week's episode I share with you 4 tips to manage your time better. First of all, you need to wake up earlier and get your most important thing done for the day, BEFORE you go to your slave job. That sets you up for success and to win the day, before it even started!
Secondly, use your commute more effectively. If you are driving: listen to audio programs, do hands-free sales calls, or drive with a friend to bounce ideas off of. If you're in the train or bus, you can also do the same, or watch educational videos or write a book.
Thirdly, after work you have another 5 or 6 hours in most cases to be productive as well. Change socialising for networking. Change dinner for going to the gym and eating healthy.
Fourthly, use your days off more wisely. I know all of this sounds like you have to give up your life. You don’t have to do that, but if you are truly committed to creating freedom for yourself and your loved ones, you start to manage your time and energy better.
Finally, plan your days, weeks, months and years in advance. This helps you to focus on outcomes that you want to achieve, instead of just activities that often lead to nowhere.
