The Bas Beat

The show has been renamed and the first show with the new name is a good one! Double the excitement, as two big topics are covered on this episode. First, the newest team in the NHL the Seattle Kraken had their Expansion Draft and I go into full detail on not only the Kraken, but the rich history of hockey in the Emerald City! Also, it may be a year late, but the Tokyo 2020 Olympics is happening! I talk about the events so far at the Games and the history and pageantry behind the opening ceremony that commences the Olympics! (This episode was recorded on Day 3, so some info may be already out of date!)

This episode is dedicated to my friend Gianna Ortega who is from Seattle and is so excited for Kraken Hockey. She celebrated a birthday the same day as the Kraken Expansion Draft! Happy Belated Bday G!

On this special episode, I give proper recognition to everything that World Wrestling Entertainment has done over the course of the COVID pandemic, especially the WWE Thunderdome and last years Wrestlemania and the cinematic matches that were produced. WWE is now going back on the road, in front of the WWE Universe, BACK WHERE THEY BELONG!! So before the first show back in front of a full WWE Universe, I want to say a huge thank you to WWE for everything that they did during the pandemic era!

In this short episode, we take a closer look at the final of the 16th European Championship in football (soccer) between two real competitive nations, England and Italy. Bas looks at both teams paths to the final, and what is so intriguing about this match. This episode only has one GOAL, to inform you about this HUGE European title bout as the clock ticks down to the main event!

Its Game On! Bas Beats brings you up to date on what is going on in the world of sports, and sometimes sports entertainment (WWE, AEW)  Hosted by high school and college sports PA Announcer Stephen Bascio, aptly nicknamed "Bas." This special bonus episode celebrates AMERICA on the 245th anniversary of the US of A gaining its Independence! Of course, the 4th of July could not be complete without some baseball talk! The first hockey episode of Bas Beats has FINALLY come! Bas previews the 2021 Stanley Cup Final featuring the Montreal Canadiens and the defending champion, Tampa Bay Lightning. Bas is back with a preview of a WWE Pay per view, normally held in October, Hell in a Cell. Bas kicks off the show by properly recognizing all of the Dads listening to the show on Fathers Day. Then Bas unleashes "hellish" amounts of content about this pay per view, talking about the HIAC match, the best matches and previewing two big matches from this upcoming pay per view. This episode came directly from a raging Inferno so its coming in HOT!
