Shane Hendershot is a 2-time NWTF Grand National Calling Champion who burst onto the competition turkey calling scene by capturing the title in 2007. He did the same thing in the year of 2011, and his name now brings recognition across the turkey calling and hunting universe.

Shane joins the show to give us some insight into the incredible world of competition turkey calling by taking us through his backstory, shining light on some of the lesser known aspects of competition, and sharing his championship philosophy on the stage and in the turkey woods.

We also get some insights into the world of call-making, as Shane takes us through the lineup at his call company, Hendershot Game Calls.

After unveiling my own EDC Pocket Dump back on EP. 18, it was only right to bring Derek back into the fold for his version on EP. 21 of The BaseCamp Podcast. After all, Derek has been here for all of our previous EDC, safety, and Lifestyle episodes. He also happens to know a ton about the subject, so let's roll!

Actually, it felt like the perfect time to bring some thoughtful and meaningful discussion to the table.
