To be a true disciple of Jesus, He must be both our Saviour and our Lord. That means completely giving over our lives to Him, in full surrender, and following Him in whatever capacity He desires of us. It's not easy, and takes a lot of self-sacrifice, but it's certainly worthwhile because of the many wonderful things He does for and through us as we walk confidently and sincerely with Him. Following Jesus is not for the faint of heart, nor for those who treasure the things of the world, but when you follow Him you will need for nothing. As Bruh David says: 'The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.' (Ps. 23:1) And that's His faithful promise! Whatever you need, He will provide, and He can, because the world and all therein belongs to Him. Yes friends, following Jesus is difficult, but He's also promised never to leave nor forsake those who come to Him, and enable us, through the power of His Holy Spirit that indwells all believers, to do His divine will. And I promise you, your worst day with Jesus, will be better than your best day without Him. Much LOVE!
