The Bastards of Kingsgrave

Bastards of Kingsgrave hosts our 14th Anime and Manga Corner, recorded back in January 2026 (the release was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances). Our usual anime/manga crew (Bing, Bill, and newest member Zach) returns to cover the anime and manga we have watched and read in the past four years. We mark the sad news in past years and reflect on of the passing away of revered mangaka Kazuki Takahashi (Yu-Gi-Oh!) and Akira Toriyama (Dragon Ball).

This episode is the belated release of the audio recording of our Podcasting 101 Panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. It was a great experience hosting this panel in person, back at SDCC in person for the first time in 3 years. Amin was joined by Aziz, Michal, and David on a fun panel that covered the basics of planning, recording, editing, releasing, and promoting podcasts and answered audience questions. Our slides from the panel are available here.

Notes: Our online Podcasting 101 panel from Comic-Con@Home 2021 is available on at the Comic-Con International Youtube Channel. For our full recap of our experiences at Comic-Con 2022, check out Episode 265 of A Podcast of Ice and Fire.

We also have a discussion about the legacy of the creator of Berserk, who passed away in 2021.
