Oakland's shoreline is about to get a much-needed makeover this weekend thanks to a group of dedicated kayakers. 

A hundred-and-one years ago today--long before anyone had heard of global warming or climate change--an entire neighborhood in Berkeley burned to the ground. 

The Bay Area is celebrating a special day for newly sworn citizens.
