Annie is the co-founder and Director of Expansion for Eden's Glory and a therapist for Foster Kairos, our minors program. MANY hours of learning, research, networking, writing, revising, wrestling, creativity, heart, and PRAYER have been given to the creation of a two-year treatment program for survivors of human trafficking.

Annie's heart is for the holistic healing of each survivor and is privileged to have walked with a number of women and children through the healing process as well as consulting with others around the country who have a heart to duplicate the work. As far as adversity...there isn't much involved in this work that hasn't felt like deep adversity and I'm a pretty open book :)

Whether it was just trying to get it up and running, finding funding, the first resident who arrived and reminded us all of how deep the wounding went and how ill-equipped we felt, finding and retaining healthy qualified staff, working with our first children who were trafficked, seeing the first resident leave before we felt she was ready, watching a number of them struggle despite our best efforts...did I mention the funding? LOL and then all the personal - I've nearly died twice since we opened the home due to health complications, learning how to balance motherhood with 2 girls in a world that is so cruel...my own faith journey...marriage...again - I could go on and on haha:)

But ALL of it, I see the Lord's hand so clearly...providing, equipping, healing, redeeming, preparing...again I could go on and on but it's truly been one of the best things of my life is going through all of this - Some areas, I'm still waiting for the redemption and healing and others have stories of miracles:)

Executive Director  Holly is a proud alumna of Greenville College, where she earned her degree in Education. Her journey into advocacy began in 2010 at a Passion Conference, where she first learned about the realities of modern-day slavery. Deeply moved, she felt a clear calling from God to support survivors in a tangible, Christ-centered way. Eight years later, after returning to her hometown, that calling led her to Eden’s Glory. Since then, Holly has dedicated over seven years to the field, serving in a variety of roles leading to Executive Director that empower survivors to encounter Jesus and walk in freedom.

Salvatore (Sam) and Noelle Borgia were married in 2015 and live in Washington, Michigan, with their two daughters, Valentina and Liliana. They are a Christian family and strive to always put God first at the center of their lives. Together, they love spending time with their tight-knit family and their church family at Oakland Church in Rochester, MI.

As a wife and mother, Noelle enjoys caring for her family, household, and homemaking. She is a 2003 Wayne State University graduate holding a Bachelor of Arts with double majors in Italian Language and Literature and International Studies, as well as a 2024 graduate of the Oakland Church School of Ministry. Noelle studied piano and music for decades and has been a piano and vocal instructor and versatile piano-vocalist-entertainer specializing in Italian music for over twenty-five years. Silence the Lion is her first book.

Inspired by Sam’s experience, Noelle and Sam now run Shattered Mirror Ministries. Together they are working to empower those struggling with substance abuse problems to see the same freedom from addiction that Sam has and to realize their true identity in Christ.

Laura has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1994, working her way from owning a small salon to managing corporate chains and eventually supervising 22 locations. She served five years on the Florida State Board of Cosmetology and has taught cosmetology for nearly 17 years—including high schoolers, adults, and students from the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind.  Today, Laura teaches cosmetology in a correctional institution because she believes in second chances. The women she works with want to break generational cycles, build careers, and create a better future for their families. They’re not failures—they’re fighters. Laura is raising awareness in the industry to see these women as worthy professionals with talent, drive, and purpose.  Outside the classroom, Laura has played piano since age five, serves as a church pianist, loves to paint, and is a proud mom and grandma. A defining moment in her life? When her husband told her she’d never survive on her own—and then left her with a two-year-old and a five-month-old. That moment became the fire that made failure not an option.

Gina Marie Burris is a children’s book author/blogger that lives in a small riverside community in Western Pennsylvania.  She has a love for cooking, traveling, spending warm summer days on the river, maintaining positive relationships with those she holds dear, spreading awareness about cancer prevention, and collecting memories instead of material possessions.  

Gina Marie is a humbled BRCA1 “Previvor.”.  With zero known family history of breast or ovarian cancer, Gina discovered her positive BRCA1 status via the Direct-to-Consumer Genetic Test, 23andme.  After speaking to an incredible genetic counselor and confirming that she did in fact carry the mutation, she worked closely with a skilled team of health care providers and chose to take the path to prevention.  Having such a high risk of developing cancer, she will be forever grateful to 23andme for giving her the opportunity to be proactive instead of reactive in her healthcare choices.  

Gina was inspired by others who had made similar choices, and she decided the best way to give back to the BRCA community was to blog about her own experiences.  Gina’s blog chronicles her journey from the beginning and gives you an honest and sometimes humorous look into what the path to prevention and life after surgeries looks like.  You can find the blog at: https://rivergirlreflections.com/
