What do you do when worry feels human.. but faith is still calling you higher?
This week, I’m joined by my dear friend Mallory: wife, mother, and children’s director at my home church, V1 Church in Long Island, New York, where she helps oversee children’s ministry across seven campuses.
In this heartfelt and faith-filled conversation, Mallory shares her family’s journey with autism and offers honest encouragement to parents raising children on the spectrum. Together, we talk about the humanity of worry, learning how to war in faith, trusting God with what we cannot control, and the power of prophetic acts when we’re still waiting to see the promise unfold.
But this episode isn’t only for parents. It’s for anyone entrusted with helping shape the life of a child.. a grandparent, aunt, uncle, teacher, ministry leader, mentor, or friend. If you’ve ever loved a child deeply, carried questions you couldn’t answer, or needed fresh faith for the journey ahead, this conversation is for you.
Our prayer is that this episode becomes a resource you can return to whenever you need encouragement... a reminder that God is present in every unknown, faithful in every detail, and still writing a beautiful story through the children He has placed in our lives.
Come lean in, breathe deeply, and leave encouraged. You are not alone, and neither is the child you’re believing for.
