Sophie is very open and honest when it comes to discussing her Motorsport presenter career and gives us some very helpful tips to try and tackle social media. Not only that but Sophie tackles this episode with a broken collarbone which makes her even more of a badass! We also give out a massive shout-out to all the up-and-coming ladies on two wheels!

Our second episode is here and we have the pleasure of having two incredible guests this time. Please welcome Steph and Beth who play a big part in the motorbike community in the southwest of England and beyond! There is going to be lots of talking about bikes, track days, charity work, growing friendships plus more! We won't give too much away but you will be left with a positive heart print by the end of this episode.
This episode was recorded on 15 July 2021
Our very good friend Steph was involved in an RTC on Friday 15th April 2022. We are extremely sad to say, Steph's RTC was fatal and we are deeply saddened to say she is no longer with us. While we still grieve her loss, Be Velocity is incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to form an incredible friendship with her and Beth plus all of the Bristol Biking Girls.
We have had full permission from Steph's family and best friend Beth to share this episode and will be dedicating season two to her. We will welcome all of Steph's friends and extended family to record a special bonus episode to share memories which will be published at a later date. Please feel free to get in touch with the information below:

In the eighteenth episode of the Be Velocity podcast, Samantha Leeks joins us to talk about her experiences as a composites Technician for Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN F1 Team. She has progressed in different championships and this is her second time being back in F1. The battles she’s had along the way have made her more determined to evolve in this industry. She tells us about where her love for cars comes from amongst some very interesting stories about Lego, Park Run, and her modified VW Lupo with nitrous!
Samantha’s song choices see another positive female role model track from the one and only Dua Lipa that is added to the Be Velocity driver playlist for you to listen to.
We absolutely enjoyed speaking with Samantha and cannot thank her enough for her time and being the perfect guests to finish season one of the Be Velocity podcast!
