Our latest show was recorded in the humidity of the Sells Studio, and inspired a varied set of beats. The latest releases from Bonobo, Kyle Hall, and Conforce started things off, and we moved towards the darker, brilliant sounds of Emeralds, Autechre remixing the Black Dog, and Noisia. A more abstract, subtle sound dominates this week’s show. It played out nicely as the evening wore on, and we were all pleased with the result. After unpacking and previewing our records, the three of us looked at one another, dumbfounded, wondering how we would form a coherent show. In the end, the wisdom of the Oracle prevailed (as far as we gather) and everything turned up cookies.
