We had a nice mix this week starting out minimal and building to the more pop and dance oriented stuff. New records from 2562, Notwist & Dubstep Allstars (mixed by Appleblim) mixed with plenty of classics.

I’ve been busy, really! Luckily finals are finished and now I’ve got three months without teaching… There are several shows to report here, but the podcast feed has been keeping up!

We started things several weeks ago with a beaty show featuring a 12-minute collaboration between The Field and !!! from pitchfork.tv.

Next up, we had a show full of Kenny’s NYC finds, including some rare Japan-only Two Lone Swordsmen material. A couple great older hip-hop tracks towards the end as well…

More traveling for us. While I was unpacking from Montreal and Kenny was in Portland, our friend Bryan, aka Deaf Dot Electrics, sent us a wonderful guest mix to fill the hour

OK! We’re almost there. Tonight’s show featured 4 bottles of wine, discussion of our roughed up Euro 2008 brackets (Joe claims Austria will take it all…), and a stack of music Kenny found while in Portland. I swear, Kenny is a raer music finding machine!

Well, I’ve been deliquent in updating the site for the last few weeks–but luckily I’ve managed to stay on top of the podcast. The DJs here have been traveling! Kenny visited Chicago and New York while I went to DC to catch Radiohead! It’s good to be back in the studio, check out some shows! While we were busy on our travels, Joseph discovered we’ve passed our 100th archived show…

Spring seems to have poked its head out here in Columbus so we decided to bust out a show to highlight some newly released music that has caught our attention. We feature new cuts from Cut Copy, Tujiko Noriko, Goldfrapp, Portishead and more.

Kenny sits in the hot chair this week bringing us treats from Pilote, SmashTV, Minotaur Shock and more. He also drops in some requests for Amanaguchi and Tokyo Police Club. Kenny has bid us farewell for metro hubs Chicago and New York for the next few weeks. We’ll miss him in the studio!

More beats this week. We drop a lot of new stuff (as usual): Neon Neon, Bracken and Why? among them. Also–a discussion of why it is a good time to be in Columbus! Live music abounds…
