What does it look like to be a peacemaker?

Take a moment to picture Jesus on the cross.

We were sinners in conflict with God. We deserved death. However, Jesus took it upon himself to become sin in order to make peace and reconcile us back to God.  He stood in our place. He took the blame for us. And his name was certainly not cleared, because they put Him to death.

But He can't fight for us if we're always standing in the way trying to throw the first punch.
