We share our first experience team teaching together!  As husband and wife! For two weeks!  Can you imagine how that went?  Yeah, it was weird. It was eye-opening and it was interesting.  Sharon and I dive in our summer school experience as STEM Directors/Teachers of Take1Academy.

Yep, Sharon and I are going to dive into a controversial topic in the classroom.  Such a simple thing yet stressful as well!  To allow students to sharpen their pencils or not?!  This can be an irritating headache if you don’t have a system for the sharpening, borrowing and replacing of pencils.  Yeah, pencils.

We interview two very important teachers in our sons’ lives, Early Child Educators Eszter Ward and Natalie Borton.  We dive in and find out what they actually do and how they do it.  Sharon and I can’t imagine working in ECE, as it is a whole different way of teaching.  And it takes a lot of patience!  We clear up any misconceptions on what it takes to be an ECE and how much deep learning is involved.
