Sammy started her beauty career at the young age of 15. She had experience working in a salon at first and then went on to work with a chain of nail bars and helped with opening these within Debenham stores. She settled in Aberdeen and now has 2 salons currently under the name 'The Studio Salons' and with a third one coming very soon( you will not guess where... this was leaked info in the podcast). She also co-owns the nail brand Gelica with Karen M Brown, two great nail legends and are looking at growing this brand further. This is a solo podcast by myself giving my advice for anyone listening who is stuck at what to do in life and finds themselves feeling the pressure of going a certain way in life when you know you want something else. In this episode I reflect on my high school days and how I had certain run ins with teachers that wanted me to go down a certain path which in the back on my head I knew wasn't for me. Lou is an experience Lash Artist and owns her a salon that she reveals with the interview she is in the process of expanding.
