What actually happened was down 5, 30 second left Johnny missed a shot giving Willoughby the ball for a two. Ethan Lamb turned it over with about 15 seconds left to number 40 who hit a three to tie it at 25. Seconds later they turn it over AGAIN to number 40 who drilled the game winning theee. We said down 6 Johnny miss and-1, 3 pointer and a 3 pointer but that’s not what happened.
The Warriors were down by 8 when we ended early for our game with 5 minutes left, but when Willoughby tied it we had to come finish the game.
Yea that’s how bad the half of basketball was that the cheerleaders were more entertaining.
Terrible half of basketball. 12-4 is the score, with each team scoring just 2 in the second quarter. Andrew really needs his shoots to fall as he doesn’t start for the second straight game.
The 4-7 Beavers look to not fall to just 4-8 by beating the Warriors to sweep the season series. JJ Abrams is our guest announcer, replacing Drew for some but not in our hearts.
Andrew’s shooting struggles and the Beavs tendency to turn the ball over in the clutch led to this heartbreaking loss. Post game coverage will be out tomorrow morning as we didn’t take the bus home and didn’t have time to do it after.
That’s all from the Hill, see you tomorrow at Willoughby Beaver faithful!
26-16 Chardon in the lead, but if Andrew made even just 50% of his shots this game would be neck and neck.
Number 42 is dominating, but number 4’s athleticism is feeding the Toppers.
Andrew Karaba’s shooting struggles hurt the Beavers, but Drew correctly predicted that Riverside would start strong and start to fade off.
My score prediction was 42-40 Chardon which was really really close to being right. Players to watch were Andrew Karaba and Number 4 for Chardon.
