Hello! Welcome back for S2! This week I am joined by Alex Greer (@alexgreer99)! Alex is a friend of mine who I met on an internship and although is from the traditionally working-class area of Northumberland, he has experienced the highs and (mostly) lows of British politics as a member of the Labour Party.
Outside of this, he is currently studying for a PhD in Chemistry at Durham University.
Therefore, today we are chatting about British politics, the rise, AND FALL!!!! of the tories, as well as asking if Labour are doing enough in opposition right now? As well as asking how we can demand more from those who represent us.

Hello hello, friends, enemies, lovers... welcome to Impressionable.
This is the podcast that uncovers all of the small and big ways in which we have been shaped by the world around us. Each week I am joined by a different guest to learn how they have been influenced throughout their lives (for better or worse).
As we look inwards, we are compelled to look outwards again. And so, this podcast engages in deep cultural, political, and social commentary.
Please share, rate it 5 stars and come back each week for more!
This episode was co-produced by Darcey Bevins.
Lots of love,Bec xx
