His boss, Earl Janoth, played by the incredible Charles Laughton, really wants this guy found before the police find him. Something's up here. Great, tense drama keeps you glued to your seat. And we paired it with a delicious beer Iowa's Big Grove was generous enough to give us. It's an episode you don't want to miss.

This episode, get swept away to an exotic locale with 1952's Macao, with Van Ice American Lager generously provided by @vannuysbeerco and @macleodale. Not even the star power of Robert Mitchum and Jane Russell could make this a hit, but for us it's all about watching these two legends playing it smooth and sexy. The convoluted plot is simply window dressing. We chose an easy drinking lager packed with flavor because it seems like something Mitchum would drink, and just the kind of refreshing beverage one would enjoy in sweltering Macao.

This Saturday, 1973's The Baby, with Adult Nap Time Pecan Porter and Bow Chicka Wow Wow Chocolate Caramel Bock, generously provided by our good friends at @millstreambrewing. An odd film, it concerns a family consisting of a mother, her two daughters and infant son, Baby. Baby, as it happens, is a 21 year old man, and the social worker assigned to the case becomes unwelcomely attached to the family. If the spectacle of watching a family completely at ease with an adult baby doesn't do it for, stick around for the twist ending.

It's Ralph Meeker as Mickey Spillane's iconic P.I. Mike Hammer, scouring the grimy streets of L.A. for the great 'whatsit.' The beer is from one of Los Angeles's great breweries, a smooth, malty, easy drinking Amber with a ton of flavor. Thank you for joining us on the journey to 50, and cheers to the journey ahead.

Well, it gets better, because Deth is played by the one and only Tim Thomerson. Trancers, squids, Helen Hunt, and Tim Thomerson as a noir style man from the future.
