Marisha Kelly is a full time photographer and art director. I love her. She is the queen of my realm. Enjoy. xx
Yes my mum has arrived to your ears. We don't believe all the same things about life, doctrine, abortion or the shape of the earth, but we are still best friends. Love oozes from my mothers eyes. Her hugs literally save lives.
We welcome to the podcast The Malaysian Queen of the Flat Earth.
Sylvie Kettle is a young artist living and working in Northern NSW.
Growing up on coastal farmland, the red-soiled Australian landscape forms the energetic grassroots of her work. Moving beyond the physical, this collective environmental energy is compounded by the female form.
Forging a deep symbiosis between art & healing, she finds medicine within gestural creation and seeks to transfer this sense of catharsis to the viewer.
I “lost” my virginity at the age of thirty. Riveting news I know.. The narrative of ‘sexual purity’ that I was fed from my fundamentalist religion taught me a very strict paradigm around the notion of sexuality. Although I was travelling the world with my music career I was extremely committed to this narrative - until I realised how unhealthy and destructive it was for me.
Fast forward three years, and Sylvie and I find out that she’s carrying.. this news rocked us on so many levels. Our relationship was 3 months old, Sylvie was in her early twenties, and I was absolutely rattled - riddled with shame and confusion from my religious trauma, and enamoured with coercive judgements from my much loved family.
In the current climate of the world right now, we felt like we needed to share our story of suffering, sovereignty and re-birth. I’m so proud of my woman and the powerful thoughts she shares from the heart.

Jake Taylor of In Hearts Wake is leading us out of the gate for episode 16.
It’s a riveting chat - traveling the world with a metal band, Native American understandings of country, balancing masculine and feminine energies as a man and changing the world one fire at a time.
In Hearts Wake as a band have pushed boundaries not only in their heavy music genre, but also in their ethical practices as a band. The making of their last album was carbon negative. Jake is leading the charge in bringing sacred work flow to the music world and beyond.

Had an amazing chat with such a beautiful soul.
Jakob, AKA the mindful coach, has spent his life on the personal/spiritual growth train. His journey began with childhood depression and challenges at school that propelled him towards a career as a transformational coach. Jakob healed his depression in his early twenties through meditation and self-help books whilst studying at university. He spent four years working with some of Australia’s most vulnerable people as a homelessness support worker. This time brought with it a newfound level of understanding of the human condition and what it really takes to guide people towards lasting change. It was this work that got him asking the big questions of how and why these people came to experience a life of challenge and struggle. What came next was a new level of understanding of the ways that humans are programmed by their early childhood experiences. Jakob now works 1on1 as a transformational coach who specializes in reprogramming unhelpful subconscious programs. He is a university lecturer and is currently writing his first book called ‘Not Good Enough: Our self-worth epidemic which is planned for release in early 2021. Jakob lives in Byron Bay with his wife Larissa who is a singer, song writer and energy healer. Jakob loves deep conversations, surfing, nature time and music

I had the absolute privilege to converse with legend ocean activist @TimSilverwood.
I owe so much to this man. I believe that the first environmental movement I ever participated in was Take 3 for the sea. He was the founder of that movement! Tim is wired with an articulate lexicon and genuine wit when it comes to the climate conversation. I love his organic flow of thoughts, heart reflection and research.
Tim has gone on to co-found Ocean Impact Organization. O!O has a mission to create an abundant and sustainable ocean through inspiration, innovation, leadership and good business. They exist to help people start, grow and invest in businesses that positively impact the ocean.
Tim, you ooze with conscious innovation and vision. Thank you for your heart conviction to step out and give your life in the protection of our Mother Ocean.
You’ve inspired so many humans like me to go deeper into sacred activism and to live a more considered life.
I really loved this chat brother.

Had such a blast chatting to Australian blues legend, surfer, father and husband, Ash Grunwald. Wow did we go deep.. I left his house feeling lighter, more inspired, nourished by plant-based food and uber challenged about my smallness of thinking.

I had the biggest blast chatting with my epic bogan neighbor Isabelle Cornish. This sister has lived many lives as a young actor, model, and author. I truly left feeling inspired, seen, and at peace with my reality from hanging with her. You may have seen her grace the screen through the years with Puberty Blues, Inhuman and Home and Away.
I was really challenged by Izzy’s ability to speak from such a mature place of humility and vulnerability. We traversed through a whole range of fascinating themes. One of these chin-wag points included being holistically healthy - having your mind, body, soul, spirit in equilibrium through a good diet, conscious community, connecting with nature, positive psychology, and having fun! We also covered male and female communication disconnect and the journey for all genders to live from a space of honor. Isabelle journeyed into the Hollywood world before even finishing high school. She was surrounded by a million weird and wonderful opportunities - but through self-awareness, she was able to transcend some of the darker sides and seasons of the L.A world. The paddy episode is available everywhere! Link in bio. If our existential chatter doesn’t astound you, Izzy’s freaking gnarly Newcastle bogan accent will. It will blow your mind! much love sis and world, stay in joy! yewwww
