In this Q&A Clément talks about fear getting in the way of committing to someone else. It’s important to reasonably weight the pros and cons of not involving ourselves with someone else—especially when there seems to be something worthwhile with them.
In this first ever Q&A episode, I tackle the question posted to me by May Huizil: My partner is dealing with extremely low self-esteem. What can I do to help her, and teach her self-love?

We interview Dr. Carla Marie Manly, a clinical psychologist and wellness expert in Sonoma County, California. Dr. Manly is a clinical psychologist, an author, consultant, advocate and speaker, with a holistic, body-mind-spirit approach. She specializes in improving professional and personal relationships through mindfulness and communication skills, blending traditional psychotherapy with alternative mindfulness practices. I talk to her about her most recent book, Joy from Fear, to bring you some of the most helpful, practical advice we've had on the show to this date regarding how to handle daily negative emotions such as anxiety, and how to literally use them to produce more joy in our lives. What Dr. Manly shared is perfect for society today, a cure of sorts if you will. It's not a pill, but it's the closest thing to it and it really does make a difference when you follow the advice we've laid out for you here.
