We get angry at others only because we don't like ourselves. If you don't like yourself, you will demand that others like you. If you don't respect yourself, you will demand that others respect you.

In this episode, we explore a powerful teaching from Tractate Sotah—about how to live with divine purpose by imitating God's actions. The Talmud teaches: Just as God visits the sick, comforts the brokenhearted, and provides for the needy, so too must we. We don’t connect to God by escaping the world—we connect by engaging with it. Through acts of kindness, generosity, and empathy, we bring God’s presence into our lives and into the world around us.

🕯️ What does it mean to “act like God”?
🤝 How do we develop the character traits that reflect the Divine?
❤️ Why visiting the sick and caring for the poor is a spiritual practice?

This class explores the Jewish path to self-perfection—not through abstract theology, but through radical compassion and moral courage.
