Make It Pink! The new Barbie movie is finally here, and it's a lot different than Emily expected, but Amber STILL hasn't seen it. The movie stars Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, and it follows Barbie as she leaves her perfect life in Malibu to explore the world and find her true calling. The movie has been praised for its diverse cast and its positive message about female empowerment, but definitely also has it's critics!

Does this mean we're 'woke'? In response to the criticism of The Barbie Movie, the conversation dives into a larger discussion of the term 'woke' as it relates to our small town, the men in our lives, and those who use it as an insult.

Everyone has a clean laundry pile that determines what they wear for the day... right? ...RiGhT?

Listen. Getting dressed is hard, and then you have to be stylish too? Emily and Amber put their heads together on style, silhouettes, and trends dos and don'ts. Emily has an over-thought theme for each of her day's fashion choices and Amber will catch her sleeves on doorknobs and trip up the stairs in maxi dresses. But, they really come together when they strongly disagree on formally defining your style and on capsule wardrobes.

Ultimately, they decide that Emily is a 'Just-Right-ilist' with her nerdy Pinterest mood boards and Amber is 'A-Little-Too-Much-ilist' with her boho closet.
