Sometimes the wool is pulled over our eyes so long, we don't recognize abuse. We tend to normalize and tolerate unhealthy relationships after being exposed to them for an exorbitant interim of time. Yet that does not make it okay, or safe. These people are dangerous- as they pose a threat to our autonomy, aspirations, relationships, and personal growth. Lately, I've been vehemently frustrated by the political turmoil of this country (The United States). How I can live among such loathsome, wicked, and cruel bigots has really been challenging on my mental health and psychology.
