Throughout the New Testament, believers are repeatedly called “the beloved”—deeply loved, cherished, and chosen by God. In the Gospel of John, the apostle refers to himself as “the disciple whom Jesus loved,” not out of ego, but out of identity. And that identity reshapes everything.
