Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. We’re all aware of the tragedy of teenage suicide and want to prevent it in any way possible. A two-thousand and twelve study from Sweden indicates that there is a strong correlation between parental separation or divorce and suicidal ideation, even when the breakup of the family happens to children from ages zero to four. Here’s what the authors say: “Parental separation or divorced in childhood is significantly associated with ever having had suicidal thoughts of having attempted suicide.” Maybe children are not as resilient as we want to think.
