Renewing your mind is a huge process that takes time and effort. In Romans 12:1-2 Paul wrote, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." 

Tara shares about the "strongholds" in our lives and their effect on our lives. Tara says her definition of a stronghold is the walls that we build around our lives to protect ourselves, but often are areas that we haven't let God into in our lives. You have to understand who you are in Christ to let go of your strongholds.

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church begins by speaking from Jeremiah Chapter 1. Jeremiah was known as a weaping prophet and had a great heart for God had called him to. God wants to make known to us what He has for our lives. If you are willing and obedient, God will show you what He has for your life. In Jeremiah 1:4-5 it says, "Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the Nations.” Before you were born, God set you apart to do something. The call on your life is going to be birthed by the word of the Lord coming to you. 

In Romans 12:1 it says,"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." God wants to change our mind and our limited thinking. The plan of God will cause a stretching to come onto your life. Allow the gift of God to come out of you. The place you are living in is too small. Sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone to get into the call of almighty God. Stir up the gift inside of you. Apostle Paul tells Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:6, "Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 

The message is summed up in the fact that God is going to deliver you so that you can deliver others. It is a walk of faith. God will provide the direction on your life.
