Welcome to the Best is Yet to Come with Pastor Brad Morgan. This week teaches about the annointing God has on your life. What God has called you to is not in vain. You may go through seasons, but God plan for you is consistent. 1 Corinthians 15:58 says, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." Be steady and stay at what God has called you to do.
God has called you to do things that you may not even expect. We are called to make disciples and bring people to the kingdom of God. Be steadfast, and immovable (in a good way!).
You may have trials in your life, but these trials will sharpen you. God doesn't overlook a labor of love in our lives. Amos 7:14-15 speaks to this: "I was no prophet, Nor was I a son of a prophet,But I was a sheepbreeder and a tender of sycamore fruit. Then the Lord took me as I followed the flock, And the Lord said to me,
‘Go, prophesy to My people Israel.’" Amos was a common person, but God had a calling for his life. What Amos was doing didn't look like anything much, but God had a big plan for his life.
God will guide your life, He will prune you, He will make you more fruitful. God chose you, and you will bear fruit. Your calling, and what God has for you will come out of your relationship with Him. With God, every person that he chooses is His favorite. John 16:13 makes it clear: "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come."
