The Best of The 'X' Zone Radio/TV Show with Rob McConnell

Shirley is a native of the Denver, CO area. She has lived in the area all of her life except for 9 months. Shirley has been an organized person back as far as she can remember into her childhood. Shirley began her professional career as a Police Dispatcher where the organization skills were put to the test each shift. After the Police Dept Shirley found herself starting a 25 year career with the local telephone company who went thru 3 names while she was employed with them. Mountain Bell - U S West - Qwest Communications. The majority of the 25 years was spent in what is now known as the IT arena. Both as non-management and management Shirley's duties dealt mainly with Disaster/Recovery within a Regional Data Center in the Denver area. Like many companies, layoffs were plentiful as the company was taken down by the CEO. Also during the majority of the 25 year career with Qwest, Shirley was primary caregiver for her late Mother. After life began to "settle" somewhat...Shirley gave a great deal of thought to the many suggestions made that she should start a business based on what she did for her Mother. After all, she enjoyed what she did and was enjoying what she was doing for her Mother. Originally, there was just the 2 products...the PINK SHEET and the Personal Paper Tracking System (home/office inventory). Eventually, Shirley finished the book she was also encouraged to write and it is now found on the website: http://www.proorganizer.com (Diary of a Lay Caregiver). In this book, Shirley wanted to share that being a caregiver can have its UP's and DOWN's...BUT it is all NOT DOOM and GLOOM! In 2004 Shirley decided to full-fill a long time dream of hers....live where it was warm year round, work for Disney and run her home-business. June 2004 Shirley moved from Westminster, Colorado to the Orlando, Florida area. 2004 was a BAD hurricane year! From 13 Aug 2004 - 25 Sept 2004, 4 MAJOR hurricanes went thru the area where Shirley was....the biggest portion of her personal and business possessions were destroyed. No matter how well one is organized...one cannot organize TOTALLY against such a disaster. With no place to live, Shirley was forced to flee her long time dream. She did NOT want to return to the cold/snow of Colorado thus headed for Las Vegas, NV...BIG MISTAKE, more devastation occurred there. Finally, after 5 months...Shirley returned to the Denver metro area where she remains today....still struggling to rebuild her shattered life. Shirley continues to help others the best she can by donating time to speak about "role-reversal" and/or organizing. Shirley was blessed to be a volunteer for an Extreme Makeover Home Edition (2007) build about 90 mins South of where she lives. Being able to help "complete" strangers was one of the most heartwarming experiences she has been a part of. - www.proorganizer.com

Magic without the hocus pocus, these stories explore the ethereal blur between reality and not, between dream and sleep, between love and 'other than' love. They present relationships with a tender wackiness. Tossed into the mix are mischievous ghosts, who give the talking plants and even the seductive and vocal grains of sand a run for their money. Quirky and offbeat, these stories will touch your heart, although they may tug at your funny bone first. Julie Ann Weinstein has published over ninety short stories and is a Pushcart Nominee. She is an editorial consultant and a flash fiction workshop leader in the Southern California area. Julie is also published under the name Julie Ann Shapiro. She currently lives in Encinitas, California, where she is working on future short story collections. - www.flashesfromtheotherworld.com

Dorothy Toy has been working in the field of subtle energy her entire life. She was brought up and educated as a Philadelphia Quaker and has been practicing meditative yoga for over 35 years. In 1995, while working at the United Nations Development Programme in New York, she was diagnosed with severe radiation poisoning caused by an extreme sensitivity to EMFs (electromagnetic frequencies). Because no one at that time knew what to do about this, Atala was "forced" to break with standard societal perceptions and began her first serious, pragmatic investigation of just what spirit and frequency can do to physical objects such as the human body and our environment. Atala healed herself with some of the same energy tools she now provides on her website. She continued her intense investigation of subtle energy. In 2000, she began consciously working with her Melchizedek lineage to provide practical modern methods to apply spiritual wisdom to the physical world. Together they have succeeded in developing very simple, ordinary methods to communicate with all other life forms in the universe. Atala teaches these techniques in workshops and writings. - www.crystal-life.com

Twenty-four hundred years ago the Olmecs and several other Mesoamerican tribes who later became the Maya, began to develop an astronomical calendar that eventually reached back to August 11, 3114 B.C., and stopped on December 21, 2012, A.D, the end of the Fifth World Age. Perhaps the most intense sky watchers of all time, these people were looking for a cosmic point of stillness that would be the hub of all creation. They found that point of stillness at the center of the Milky Way. By their calculations, on the final day in 2012, the sun would arise from the very center of our galaxy, and with it would come the end of the Fifth World Age. The Mayans had determined the galactic center with a precision that wasn't available to Western science until the early 1990s. Intertwined with the calendar was their interpretation of a host of celestial events, the greatest of which was the end of the Fifth World Age. At that time, there would be cataclysm, but also the possibility of a shift to wholeness in global consciousness. - www.jockwhitehouse.com

Carole Lynne is an internationally recognized Credentialed Psychic Medium, award-winning author, spiritual teacher, public speaker and media spokesperson. She studied Spiritualism in the U.S. and is an ordained minister certified by the American Federation of Spiritualist Churches. Spiritualism is a religion, philosophy and science whose roots are in the belief that when our physical life is over, our consciousness survives and passes into the world of spirit. Carole Lynne has also studied in England at the Arthur Findlay College in Stansted, which is part of the Spiritualist National Union, from which she is an award holder. During the past 20 years of channeling and performing readings for people in the U.S. and 12 countries, she has continually seen the detrimental affects that the lack of closure can have on an individual and the positive results that a reading can have on one's mental and physical health. Her contention is that everyone has psychic abilities and these abilities can be cultivated to create a happier and healthier life. To help people get on their journey to connecting with their loved ones she wrote her first book, How to Get a Good Reading From a Psychic Medium: How to Get the Most Out Of Your Contact With The Other Side (Weiser Books, 2003). In 2005, so that individuals could develop their own psychic ability, she released Consult Your Inner Psychic: How to Use Intuitive Guidance To Make Your Life Work Better (Weiser Books, 2005). As a former singer-songwriter and creator of Singing for the Soul, a spiritual approach to singing, in 2002 she authored Heart & Sound: Discover Your Soul Voice (Red Wheel/Weiser, 2002), a CD of series of chants, prayers and affirmations. - www.carolelynnecosmicconnection.com

The RMS Titanic was an Olympic-class passenger liner owned by British shipping company White Star Line and built at the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast, Ireland. At the time of her construction, she was the largest passenger steamship in the world. Shortly before midnight on 14 April 1912, four days into the ship's maiden voyage, Titanic hit an iceberg and sank two hours and forty-eight minutes later, early on 15 April 1912. The sinking resulted in the deaths of 1,517 of the 2,223 people on board, making it one of the deadliest peacetime maritime disasters in history. The high casualty rate was due in part to the fact that, although complying with the regulations of the time, the ship did not carry enough lifeboats for everyone aboard. The ship had a total lifeboat capacity of 1,178 people, although her maximum capacity was 3,547. A disproportionate number of men died due to the women-and-children-first protocol that was followed. The Titanic was designed by some of the most experienced engineers, and used some of the most advanced technology available at the time. It was popularly believed to have been described as "unsinkable."[6] It was a great shock to many that, despite the extensive safety features, the Titanic sank. The frenzy on the part of the media about Titanic's famous victims, the legends about the sinking, the resulting changes to maritime law, and the discovery of the wreck have contributed to the continuing interest in, and notoriety of, the Titanic. - www.899limo.com
