The Best of The 'X' Zone Radio/TV Show with Rob McConnell

Baby Lisa Irwin has been missing for two months, but the one-year-old's parents, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, continue to maintain that their daughter was kidnapped. Bradley and Irwin have come under fire for failure to cooperate with the Kansas City police department, sparking suspicions that baby Lisa might be dead or that the parents might have been involved. A Dallas psychic, Stephanie Almaguer, made claims on her blog that the missing one-year-old died accidentally in her home and was then dumped in an area resembling the Kansas City location. The self-proclaimed psychic claims she had a vision that Lisa Irwin was buried by a river and a tower. She then posted a drawing of what she saw in her vision. Locals identified parts of the drawing as the region surrounding Sam's Town Casino at Interstate 435 and Highway 210, reported KCTV 5. Kansas City Police Capt. Steve Young told KCTV 5 that the police were aware of Almaguer's reported visions and that, in fact, authorities have been contacted by numerous psychics. However, he claims the information has not been useful and police would not search the former Sam's Town Casino. While police refused to pursue the lead, the public and media sources were quick to consider the tip. Megyn Kelly of Fox News invited Almaguer onto her show in order to discuss her "psychic ability" prior to the abandoned casino's search. The failure of psychics, like Almaguer, to accurately provide information to police calls into question why they repeatedly turn up in the cases of missing people reports. If psychics tend to be unreliable, why do people continue to listen, trust and follow them? Has the seeming hopelessness of Lisa's case lead to the acceptance of all, and any, possible sources of information? Or, is there something greater?

Morgellons disease is right out of science-fiction novels in that the symptoms are certainly not ordinary. The victims report strange animal-like and other forms exiting their skin, usually accompanied by lesions covering many parts of their bodies. Most victims report 'brain fog', chronic fatigue, severe depression, deep pain in their joints, loss of hair and nails and in some cases a strong urge to commit suicide. There are a host of other debilitating physical and psychological symptoms as well. Mr. Mickelson, himself a Morgellons victim for over 8 years, has methodically investigated Morgellons disease and has concluded that the possibility exists that there may be links to unintended consequences of genetically modified agricultural experiments gone bad or to deliberate or accidental releases of GMO weaponization programs. However, since little is currently known about this disease except that it apparently has no cure and as of yet has not been accurately identified... it is important to remember that all options are still on the table. Until peer reviewed and published science is on hand, no one particular theory holds any more or less actual credibility than another.

Frompovich wrote Our Chemical Lives And The Hijacking Of Our DNA, A Probe Into What's Probably Making Us Sick, with the hopes of opening a much-needed national discussion and debate about ubiquitous man-made toxic chemicals and their implications in the rising costs of healthcare and how they impact human ecology. She hopes her book will do for personal body pollution what Rachel Carson's Silent Spring did for the environment. Frompovich believes that once the correlation is made between man-made chemicals and health anomalies-similar to tobacco smoking and its impact on health issues -pollution at DNA and cellular levels suddenly will rival global warming. - www.catherinejfrompovich.com

Retired teacher David J. Pitkin has sought answers to mysteries throughout his life, an activity spurred by a bout with cancer in 1973. Fascinated by the workings of the unconscious mind and on the growing evidence for consciousness surviving body death, he has written five books of researched ghost stories. He studied dream analysis with Dr. Montague Ullman, pioneer dream researcher at Maimonides Hospital. Pitkin believes that dreams of the deceased are often genuine "contact experiences." David lectures widely on parapsychology themes, including ghost stories and near-death experiences. His first collection of New England ghost stories is found in Ghosts of the Northeast (2002), which has sold over 25,000 copies. On September 1, 2010 he published New England Ghosts, containing about 150 more stories, most of which have never before been in print. Pitkin has served as a professional numerologist and spiritual counselor, using his degree in Counseling Psychology (Goddard College, 1990) to analyze peoples' dreams, personalities and spiritual goals. His book, Spiritual Numerology: Caring for Number One, outlining his unique numerological analytical system, was published in 2000. Though he has visited haunted sites throughout Western Hemisphere, his favorite haunts are in the northeast U.S., where the spirits are usually polite, though stubborn. He regales audiences with humorous ghost tales throughout the region. Pitkin's motto is "Enlighten, Don't Frighten," as he stimulates readers and listeners to ponder the profound issues surrounding death-and life. He frequently appears on radio and television, addressing issues of the strange phenomena and the unseen world around us. In 2006 Pitkin completed Adirondack Journey, Glens Falls, NY TV-8's series on haunts in the Adirondack Mountains. His updated Saratoga County book, Haunted Saratoga County, was published in 2005, and has become another local best seller. He published New York State Ghosts, Volume 1 in 2006, and Volume 2 in October, 2008, both of which have become regional best sellers. More people than one would suspect are interested in their life's ending and want it to be a happy one. Pitkin offers suggestions on how to achieve that. His first novel, The Highest Mountain: Death & Life in the Adirondacks, was published in June 2007, and Pitkin is currently working on a sequel, The Explorer: An Adirondack Search, due out in 2014. In March 2009 he released his first CD album of narrated ghost stories with an Adirondack theme: Adirondack Ghost Stories, Volume One.

Rael, founder and leader of the Raelian Movement (www.rael.org), today issued a statement in response to Stephen Hawking's speculations about hostile extraterrestrials. Widely previewed in the popular media, Hawking's pessimistic ruminations are part of an upcoming Discovery Channel television series. "With these views, Hawking demonstrates that he's not only physically handicapped but mentally handicapped by the degenerative disease of 'evolutionism' or 'Darwinism,' " Rael said. "His fears about murderous, invading aliens are based on the theory of evolution - the myth of evolution, to be more precise. He's afraid humans are inferior to aliens who might invade. That's logical, but only if you accept the myth of evolution." Rael called evolution "a magical, irrational concept" that does great harm. "Hitler's views about superior Aryans; slavery and apartheid; and Hawking's delirium of aliens wiping out humanity all fit perfectly with the evolution myth," he said, adding that he admires the stance taken by Swedish scientist Soren Lovtrup. "Lovtrup said Darwinian evolution will one day be considered the greatest deceit in the history of science and that it's anti-science and false," he said. "I agree." And the truth about the origin of life on Earth? "It's the result of intelligent design, not by just one so-called godly designer but by extraterrestrial designers, plural, called the Elohim," Rael said. "With intelligent design, you automatically have intelligent organization of the universe as well, organization based on peace and love, not on monsters ready to invade and destroy humanity." Why? "Intelligent designers wouldn't allow anyone to destroy their creation," Rael said. "What's more, with cosmic laws based on intelligent design, violent species wind up self-destructing before they can spread their violence to other planets." Is this a lesson for humanity? "We can use weapons of mass destruction to eliminate ourselves," Rael explained. "We don't need alien invasions for that; we're powerful enough and stupid enough to do it ourselves unless peace and love prevail. Stephen Hawking is doing a terrible thing by instilling fear. Fear leads to poor health, bad behaviors and the militaristic policy of weapons accumulation that can lead to humanity's self-destruction. The world needs peace, love and global disarmament, not fear. And we must eliminate the myth of God and the myth of evolution, since both of these myths perpetuate fear and violence." - www.rael.org
