Am usually enthralled from start to finish with her books this one was very slow to start with but once I preserved I started to enjoy it. I will buy the next chapter in the Byrnes saga if there is one coming out . Still a very gritty read.
Great London based setting.
A bit slow to start off with, but once I'd got into it, well, what a cracking read, great characters, lots of twists and turns, thoroughly enjoyed this and hope that there's a follow on with the same characters.
Mediocre at best
I don't understand the great reviews. None of the characters were likeable and the story was really kind of stupid. I'm sorry I wasted my time finishing it.
Avoid
One of the worst books I have ever had the misfortune to begin reading. Really really poor writing. I can't imagine what possessed the publisher....
Intense
Intense & captivating thriller. I can't wait for the sequel!
