Your return on investment is not only important when it comes to money, but also when it comes to children-basically it's thankless for a while. Darien/Pro has also expressed this on his episode. We dive head first into the most basic context of ROIs-money! What are your investments looking like? What is your rate of return? Do you want to generate wealth and have your assets pay for other assets?! Danito schools me on a new brokerage he's working with (and I'm in)! After some long, but critical finance talk we jump into his life as a dad, and one thing about it he loves those kids. The balance of life with 2 children under 5, supportive partners (I love it for them), and the importance of children having their mother and father around-Black dads matter! The joys of being the oldest-honestly it's trash. I touched on this briefly during Shae's episode, and today I take a deeper dive into the responsibility. Often it's unfair and most times no one checks on the oldest or perceived to be well adjusted child. I feel bad for those of you who are only children, becauuse it's just y'all. Later, I ask what parents do when one child requires more of them emotionally than the other ones. Do they realize they give less, should they acknowledge it and is the answer having one child?
