What is Success, really, and how can we be successful?

With Thanksgiving coming up shortly, we thought it would be fitting to do a sermon on being thankful.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. You can know everything there is to know about the Bible, but if you aren't sharing that knowledge with the lost and dying world, is it really doing anybody any good?

God gave us the Bible so we could know who he is. God gave us the Bible so we could learn about the past. God gave us the Bible so we can know that he is holy. God gave us the Bible so we could learn how to live.

God is always providing for us, and he knows what is best for us.

Who do we pray to? Why do we pray? What should we pray about? Where should we pray? When should we be praying?

Matthew 18:21-22 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

You might think that you aren't good enough for God to use, you don't have enough talent, or you have too much sin in your past, but God can use anybody. The plain, the poor, the sinners.
