A look at the letters to the seven churches in Revelation 2-3, where Jesus encourages and exhorts believers to hold onto and live out His message.

In 1 John 2-3, John tells us that while we have sin in our lives, faithful believers should seek to love one another, not love the world and not make a practice of sinning.

In Philemon, we see a powerful story of reconciliation between Philemon and Onesimus that teaches us the weightiness of Christian community and relationship.

In Acts 27-28, we see once again how God is glorified through Paul, as he trusts him in the midst of a shipwreck. Often in Paul's life, God is most glorified through his suffering. This begs the question of us: are we willing to trust God to the point of great suffering for His glory? 

In Acts 24-26, Paul is on trial before Roman officials after being accused by the Jews of causing trouble for Rome. Paul, as he does often in Acts, uses this platform as an opportunity to share about Jesus. As we see Paul's testimony, it is a good reminder for us to be ready to share about Jesus in our lives, especially how He encounters us in our weakness.

In Philippians 3, Paul tells his readers of reasons he could have had for boasting in his outward actions, but that he ultimately realized, as we should, the futility of any accomplishment or desire in comparison to knowing Christ.

A discussion of Ephesians 2-3 with an emphasis on how God's grace reconciles us to Him and to one another. 

Paul's rejection in Jerusalem and rescue by Roman authorities serve as two seemingly dangerous and difficult situation, but God was orchestrating His plan for Paul to preach the Gospel in Rome. This story shows that God can use any means for His plan, and our best choice is to allow Him to use us as His instruments. 

In Acts 18-21, we see several instances of God's divine ordination of circumstances in Paul's third missionary journey. We can have hope and joy in the fact that the same God is divinely orchestrating our lives for His glory.
