Apologetics is not the art of apologies. Apologetics takes a much more active role in our Christian faith as it is about giving a defence for what we believe in.

The Bible contains various texts derived from Divine inspiration (2 Tim 3:15). But the Bible, just like any other work of literature is written in various contexts and styles of writing. This is where Hermaneutics comes in. It teaches us How to read the Bible, Correctly divide the word of truth and stay true to the Doctrine of our Faith as taught by the Apostles.
