The Bible Workshop

A walk with Christ is led by one voice, one truth, one will — and it all belongs to God. The more we acknowledge this, the more we experience all the benefits of surrendering to and knowing God’s will. Join us for a workshop of Colossians 1 to discover the truth about these benefits!

Happy New Year! Each year our church commits to a theme that helps us develop our Christian walk. This year’s theme is: The Year of Hope. We want to encourage you to move into 2023 with great hope! The passage of scripture we are starting with is Romans 15:13. Join us!

There is a time to be silent. In fact, we hear best when we turn down the noise. For 400 years, in the period between the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, God was silent. Yet, He was still very much at work. Join us for a workshop of Zecharias' prophecy in Luke 1.

The end of the year brings a season of heightened busyness. At some point we have to ask ourselves why. Why have we turned a beautiful season and its message into something so joyless? We hope today’s workshop helps you get the joy back! Join us as we workshop Luke 2.

During certain seasons, there are a few places in the world that experience 24 hours of light. No darkness! As fascinating as that is, there is one light that never goes dark — ever. That’s the Light of the World. Join us for a study of John 8 to learn more about this light!

God certainly wants to grow us up spiritually. Like an iron gets wrinkles out of clothing, God turns up the heat to get the wrinkles out of our life. Join us in a workshop of James 1 as we learn how God uses trials--growing pains--to mature us.

It is time for the seasonal holiday that began as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and for the blessing of the year. Happy Thanksgiving! Unfortunately, the giving of thanks is now often drowned in gravy and fixings. Join us as we put the spotlight on faith this Thanksgiving.

There is an identity crisis going on in the world today. However, there is also an identity crisis going on in the church. Both are sick. Today we workshop a passage in Ephesians that goes right to the core of this and offers a solution that brings clarity.

The church is to be light, but in the midst of a dark world that light is a stark contrast to the norm. That means there is work for the church to do.  We are light as God is light. But how?  Join us as we workshop a passage in Revelation 2 to answer that question.

There’s probably nothing sadder than a wasted a life. But there's a surefire way to avoid that. Join us as we workshop a passage in 1 Kings to discover how to not waste your life!
