Then we discuss how LACC will play as an untested venue for the U.S. Open Are there any similar Gil Hanse designs, or will this play more like Chambers Bay, which hosted the 2015 event? We look at California golfers like Max Homa and Xander Schauffele's chances of winning a major in their home state. Afterwards, we look at Matt's incredible winning hot streak, which includes four of the last five majors, multiple first-round leader bets, Matt Fitzpatrick winning the Heritage, Victor Hovland winning the Memorial, and a GPP win. Finally, we both like Scottie Scheffler to win, but Matt also belives Bryson DeChambeau could post a threat after winning on a Hanse course at Winged Foot in 2020.
