September 01, 2023 Episode XXXI - Wake up, it's time for football
The Rigs return on the other side of a long, hot summer of baseball and the juices are flowing! Ric can barely contain his excitement, despite his frustrations with FOX's score-bug. Pete is still coming down from the high of the Minnesota-Nebraska rock fight, but takes some time to school us on "culture" as well as drop some facts about Minnesota's defense (CITATION NEEDED). Dean attempts to give some analysis, but ends up having to school Pete on geography. (Needless to say, Pete might not totally grasp the uproar around the conference realignment.) We start a new slate for gambling, which Dean instantly approves, and pick a few of the intriguing matchups. Despite this not being a Purdue podcast, we also invite some Purdue guests to give their predictions for Purdue's season. Finally, we close out with discussion on vacation planning and etiquette because someone needed a reminder...

August 11, 2023 Episode XXX - Football is coming
The Rigs return with their thirtieth episode and are about tapped out on summer baseball. Pete is ready to turn the tables on Ric, Ric's excited about yet another jumbotron, and Dean might still be asleep after Vail. We read into 5 minutes of preseason action, try to catch up with all of the conference realignment, and successfully avoid an extended Purdue segment. Instead of doing picks, we discuss Phil Mickelson and Dean having similar gambling success and light the bat signal for any guests that want to come on the pod.

July 31, 2023 Episode XXIX - The Yankees are Dead
The Rigs return with an update on the Yankees historic run and Pete's dealings with lawnmower customer support. Fortunately for Big Rig Nation (and unfortunately for Pete), the pod keeps receipts so we call in the Replay booth to hold ourselves accountable. We then take a dive into the NFL, discussing aging running backs trying to find work in the AFC East, Jim Irsay going off the rails again, Pete's nose surgery, and picking some division winners. Finally, we close with a requested Women's World Cup update, so there's that.

July 24, 2023 Episode XXVIII - Yankees are back!
The Rigs return...and so have the Yankees? Pete can barely control his excitement about the Yankees future, and Ric & Dean are happy for him. We run through MLB news, trade deadline discussions, and discuss the requirements for not getting booed in the Bronx. We then scratch the football itch and discuss the Jets future, some throwback uniforms, running back compensation, and start listing out possible contenders for next season. Finally, we close out with a couple of Yankees picks, because their fans care too much.

The Rigs return thanks to Carlos Rodon finally making his Yankees debut. We recap the first half of the MLB season, the Home Run Derby, and Ric getting texts from exes about the Red Sox. We then take a quick look at the Vegas Summer League, an even quicker look at the NFL, and then discuss Pete's second-favorite B1G school making national news. Finally, we close with picks because apparently Dean has money again.

The Rigs return from mowing the lawn with a rundown of the summer's sporting events. The NBA season is over and the location of Titletown is unknown. The Red Sox, Astros, and Yankees all stink so the Rigs are desperate for sports discussion. Pete gives us a Formula 1 plug, big golf fan Dean talks LIV/PGA, and Ric breaks the news on Dean Blandino's tattoos and eating hot dogs. We don't close out with picks because Dean is out of money.
