Roxi Abbott is a neurodivergence coach, lecturer, and MSc Psychology student based in the UK. She specialises in neurodiversity-affirming coaching, with a focus on helping clients reconnect with their autonomy, develop self-trust, and build lives that work with- not against- their brain.

She runs her practice under the name of Neurospice Navigation, a coaching practice grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for individual agency. Her work centres on supporting clients to untangle external expectations, reduce internalised pressure, and make decisions that align with their values and capacity.

Alongside her coaching practice, Roxi lectures at WaterBear Music College, where she supports emerging artists in building fulfilling careers alongside understanding themselves better. Her current MSc research explores how autonomy is understood and supported within neurodiversity-affirming coaching.

With a background in music, education, and coaching, Roxi brings a creative, relational, and deeply human approach to her work.

‘Saint Maria's Way’, shortlisted for Screamfest 2024, started from Chris Turner and writer Chelsea Kania’s frustration with the increasingly dire lack of safety for women on the street at night. The numerous well-publicised cases in which CCTV was pivotal to the investigation of the crimes committed against women were part of what gave way for the idea.

In this episode, Alex is joined by Pelham Spong, who provides her account of being a victim of trafficking, sexual assault, and coercion by the late and powerful billionaire businessman, Mohammed Fayed. Known for his ownership of the luxury department store Harrods, Hôtel Ritz Paris, and Fulham Football Club, Fayed is now a subject of notoriety. Following his passing in 2023, victims have since broken their silence, with over 400 of his victims having come forward with allegations of rape, sexual assault and trafficking.
