Antonio Silva is a Portuguese big wave surfer and jet ski rescue driver. He loves getting barreled at "Cave" and charging massive waves at Nazare. In this interview, we chat about the mindset of a big wave surfer, Dynamic Apnea training and coming back from two career threatening injuries. Antonio also goes emotionally deep into his "Big Thursday" wipeout at Nazare and how it changed him forever !! - " i had headaches for a long time after that. I almost gave up to the ocean on that day !! "

Chuck Patterson describes himself as " addicted to being challenged in mother natures playground ". You may know him for "skiing" down the massive waves of Mavericks and Jaws. When he is not doing this you will find him screaming across the water and flying high on his kite and foil board. On other days he will be charging big waves on his surfboard or SUP. In addition, as a pro skier he loves launching himself off the side of powder snow ledges !! Steve is based in San Diego, a Blacks Beach local and spends a lot of time at "The Wedge" . In this podcast he also chats with Toby about his time in Nazare and Bali. Guest SERGIO COSME talks about finally getting to ride some bombs instead of driving the rescue ski all day ! Sergio also goes into detail about the Nic Von Rupp and Joao Guedes "incident" and how post incident while both teams were discussing what happened, the driver of the other teams ski, loses his head and rams Sergio`s ski at full throttle driving over the top of it and causing Nic Von Froth to jump from the ski in fear of his life !! - " he tried to kill us " !! TOBY CUNNINGHAM chats about the waves that day and some of the waves he and his team charged. He also describes a gnarly wipeout by violin playing big wave surfer Nuno Santos, and how it took Toby who tried to rescue him about 30 minutes to get back out on a jet ski, having to drive about 10 K up the coast and out and around on his own in 70ft + waves !

JOAO DE MACEDO talks about some of the waves he rode and who the stand out surfers were on that day. He chats about the crowd, the spectacle of the arena atmosphere and the sheer awesome beauty of it all and the need to give gratitude for such rare conditions.
